Joe Stamm Band brings their Midwest-bred, story-rich sound to Hangar 9 for a Friday night rooted in honest songwriting and high-energy country rock.
Raised in the river valleys of central Illinois, Joe Stamm writes songs that turn small moments into something expansive โ the hum of crickets on a summer night, the smell of bonfire smoke in winter, the quiet ritual of a cold garage beer. After more than a decade of writing, touring, and performing, Stamm has sharpened his storytelling to a rare precision, delivering songs that feel deeply personal yet instantly familiar.
Backed by longtime bandmates Bruce Moser (bass), Dave Glover (guitar/keys), and Tim Kramp (drums), the Joe Stamm Band blends rugged country with roots-rock edge โ a sound theyโve coined Black Dirt Country Rock. Their latest full-length album, Little Crosses (2025), expands that sound even further, pulling from both Midwest and Appalachian influences to create something cinematic, powerful, and distinctly American.
Known for dynamic live shows, big builds, and a voice that cuts straight through the room, this is a performance that rewards both careful listening and full-volume living. A special guest opener will be announced soon, making this a full night of live music worth catching from start to finish.
